Jobs & Internships

Forward Marketing has a combination of internship & full-time team member opportunities. For interns, we work with universities like the Art Institute of Houston, University of Houston, Houston Baptist University, Rice University, and other regional colleges as well as others to give letter-grade credit internships.

How to Apply

We recommend that you to the following for any job search you do, but we require that you do the following in order to apply for our opportunities in order to be considered:

  1. Website – Get a self-branding domain (i.e., TomKing.com). Then select a WordPress template from Elegant Themes or StudioPress that’s simple & clean to showcase your skills (i.e., MyResume). Build a personal, branded website similar to TomKing.com that shows off your skills, certifications, experience, portfolio, & social media account usage. WordPress, Photoshop and Facebook skills should be included if applicable.
  2. Certifications & Social Media - Feature on both your resume & website your social media accounts that you use & have relevant skill certifications. Skills that always interest us include WordPress website development, PhotoShop editing, keyword research with tools like Market Samurai or Web CEO, Google Analytics. These certifications of interest can be found in our Training section.
  3. Resume – Make a 1-page PDF resume including your email address, phone number, related skills, certifications, and experience. Also include your website URL, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media account info (as live links).
  4. Email – Send us a two-sentence email of why you are perfect for desired position, attaching the one-page PDF resume. Send to info@forwardm.com. Indicate if you’re interested in full-time employment or a college internship opportunity.
  5. Tools – If hired you’ll be required to convert your personal email to the free Google Apps service, provide your own laptop with Microsoft Office 2010 (Starter Edition or greater), use LastPass for password security, use the Google Chrome browser, and have a Dropbox account.
